Static electricity in the production, storage and transportation of hazardous chemicals.
Static ignition elements

1 Potential electrostatic hazards of hazardous chemicals are basically formed through three stages. Charge separation, charge accumulation, electrostatic discharge.

Charge separation: When two different substances come into contact with each other, charge separation occurs at the interface.

Charge accumulation: After the charges of opposite sex are separated from each other, there is a tendency to recombine and neutralize each other. (The lower the conductivity of a substance, the longer the charge decay time.)

Electrostatic discharge: Discharge can be caused between two points, and its breakdown ability depends on the strength of the electrostatic electric field between the two points.

2 Static electricity in the production, storage and transportation of hazardous chemicals. When liquid hazardous chemicals are flowing, filtering, mixing, spraying, spraying, washing, filling, shaking, etc., the electrostatic charge generation speed is higher than the electrostatic leakage speed, thereby accumulating electrostatic charge. However, these operations cause static electricity to accumulate, and when it reaches a certain level, it will suddenly discharge. When it encounters an explosive mixture with sufficient energy, fire and explosion accidents caused by static electricity will occur immediately.
